How to translate the interface and content

← Back

On the "Site languages" tab, each language has two rows with a "Translate" button: "Interface" translates module labels, "Content" — your texts.

Translation runs in two tracks, and for each enabled language they are shown as separate rows with their own progress bar:

  • “Interface” — buttons, field labels, messages from the modules themselves. They are shared across all sites.
  • “Content” — what you wrote: section titles and contents, products, tariffs, SEO fields.
  1. Open “General settings” → “Site languages”, the automatic translation card.
  2. Click “Translate” in the desired row and let the translation finish. It runs in batches — a few lines at a time — to avoid hitting the server's script execution time limit.
  3. If it was interrupted (you closed the tab, connection dropped) — just click again: translation will continue from where it stopped.

The base language has no “Content” row: texts in it are already written. And “Interface” is not needed for Russian — module labels are originally Russian.

The machine does not overwrite your edits. If you corrected a translation manually, a re-run will not touch it. The reverse is also true: your edit replaces the machine version.

If it didn't work

  • The progress bar doesn't reach the end. Click “Translate” again — translation will continue, not start over.
  • You translated, then changed the text in the base language. The translation becomes outdated: run it again, the changed line will be re-translated.
  • The “Translate” buttons are inactive. Automatic translation is not configured on the server — a banner at the top of the tab warns about this. You can translate manually.

Tips for working with the builder

The "Help" section is made for those who are building a website on "Pervaya Liniya" for the first time. It contains answers to common questions: how to create a website, what to write in the fields, how to edit texts and photos, how to connect your own domain, and how to set up sections. The materials will help you figure things out without contacting support.

The builder is simple: you fill in the fields on the creation page, and then edit the content directly on the finished website. If something does not work or is unclear, check the relevant help item. The instructions are written in plain language and describe every step.

In Help you will find answers to questions:

  • how to come up with a website address and what to do if the name is taken;
  • how to change the title, description, and other texts on the page;
  • how to add products, services, or request forms;
  • how to connect your own domain instead of an address on firstline.com.ua;
  • how to set up sections and modules for your business needs.

If you cannot find the answer you need, use the feedback form — we will help you figure it out. The section is updated so that you can always find current information about working with the builder.
