What is multichat and how to start

← Back

Multichat collects conversations from messengers, social networks, marketplaces, email, and the site chat into one window. Start with the section with the multichat module and the "Add channel" button.

  1. Create a section and enter multichat in the "Module" field. The page works only for logged-in users: guests will see a login prompt.
  2. Open the section. On the left is the folder column, in the middle is the list of chats with search, on the right is the open chat.
  3. Click "Add channel" under the "Write" button. While there are no channels, the same button pulses right in the empty list.
  4. In the "Multichat channels" window, in the "New channel" block, select what to connect: Email, VKontakte, Telegram, WhatsApp, MAX, Avito, Ozon, Wildberries, Yandex Market, T-Bank, Odnoklassniki, or Website chat. The settings for that channel will open.
  5. Fill them in and save. The new channel will be added to this multichat automatically, and the first messages will be pulled in immediately or within a couple of minutes.

Each request is a chat (a ticket with its own number). New ones go to "Inbox", from where an employee takes them into work, replies, and marks them as completed.

The window adapts to you: the borders between columns and the height of the reply field can be dragged with the mouse (double-clicking on the border returns it to how it was). The settings windows, "Write", and "New folder" do not close the page — they can be moved by the header, resized, and collapsed. Esc closes the window.

There can be several sections with multichat — for example, a separate one for the sales department. Each has its own set of channels: the checkboxes in the "Multichat channels" window show or hide a channel only in that section; the account and chat are not deleted.

If it didn't work

  • No "Add channel" button. Only the site administrator sees it.
  • The section title disappeared above the multichat. This is by design: empty title and text are not displayed, and filled ones are edited in the section settings, not by clicking on the page.
  • The channel is connected, but there are no chats. Check the "Connection errors" triangle at the bottom of the folder column and the channel checkbox in the "Multichat channels" window.

Tips for working with the builder

The "Help" section is made for those who are building a website on "Pervaya Liniya" for the first time. It contains answers to common questions: how to create a website, what to write in the fields, how to edit texts and photos, how to connect your own domain, and how to set up sections. The materials will help you figure things out without contacting support.

The builder is simple: you fill in the fields on the creation page, and then edit the content directly on the finished website. If something does not work or is unclear, check the relevant help item. The instructions are written in plain language and describe every step.

In Help you will find answers to questions:

  • how to come up with a website address and what to do if the name is taken;
  • how to change the title, description, and other texts on the page;
  • how to add products, services, or request forms;
  • how to connect your own domain instead of an address on firstline.com.ua;
  • how to set up sections and modules for your business needs.

If you cannot find the answer you need, use the feedback form — we will help you figure it out. The section is updated so that you can always find current information about working with the builder.
