How to add a unit to a property (RUB, pcs, m²)

← Back

In the property window, select "Unit of measurement" — it will appear after each value: in the price table, filters, and on the object page.

  1. In the "Object Management" section, open a section or object.
  2. For a new property, click "New Property"; for an existing one, click the pencil next to its name (the "Property Settings" window).
  3. Select a "Unit of measurement" from the list. If the one you need isn't there, select "Custom..." and enter your own.
  4. Save.

The unit is displayed after the value everywhere it is shown: the label and value on the object page, price table, tabs, filters. In the order form — directly in the list items ("100 pcs.").

Units from the list are translated automatically: on the English version of the site, "pcs." becomes "pcs". A custom unit remains as written in all languages.

Section and objects. A unit set for a section property is propagated to all its objects along with the name. You can change it for just one object on its page: pencil next to the property value, unit line. But the next edit of this property in the section will overwrite it back.

A currency unit is also useful for tiles: if an object doesn't have a "Cost" or "Price" property, the price in the preview template is considered to be the first property with a currency unit.

If it didn't work

  • A new object has the value "Basic" in the property. This is how empty section properties used to be filled. This no longer happens, but for old objects the value must be deleted manually.
  • The unit for the object reverted to the previous one. It was overwritten by editing the property in the section — set the desired unit for the section.

Tips for working with the builder

The "Help" section is made for those who are building a website on "Pervaya Liniya" for the first time. It contains answers to common questions: how to create a website, what to write in the fields, how to edit texts and photos, how to connect your own domain, and how to set up sections. The materials will help you figure things out without contacting support.

The builder is simple: you fill in the fields on the creation page, and then edit the content directly on the finished website. If something does not work or is unclear, check the relevant help item. The instructions are written in plain language and describe every step.

In Help you will find answers to questions:

  • how to come up with a website address and what to do if the name is taken;
  • how to change the title, description, and other texts on the page;
  • how to add products, services, or request forms;
  • how to connect your own domain instead of an address on firstline.com.ua;
  • how to set up sections and modules for your business needs.

If you cannot find the answer you need, use the feedback form — we will help you figure it out. The section is updated so that you can always find current information about working with the builder.
