How to set up an object page

1. Open the object on the site — click on its tile. The administrator sees a settings panel above the page.
2. In the “Display layout:” list, choose what you're editing: “Shared for all objects” or “Only this object”.
3. Hover over an element: drag it to another column with the handle, hide it with the eye, open “Element settings” with the pencil — label, “Width within column”, “Don't show to visitor”. The gear icon at the top left — appearance.
4. A new column is created by dragging an element into the “Drag here to create a column on the left” zone (or on the right). The column width is dragged by its right edge, double-click restores the default width.

What you can add. The “Add field” button creates a custom field — the same types as in forms, except calculator and dependent list. In the same type list there's a group “Object data”: “Object name”, “Object image”, “Object short description”, “Object gallery”, “Breadcrumb”, “Other objects in section”, “Recommended objects”. In the “Ready fields” group — “Add to cart button”. The name is hidden by default: it's already in the page title.

Prices. Single-value properties are displayed as a “label — value” pair, multi-value properties form a price table. Above it there's a “View:” toggle — “Table” or “Order form”, and “Display cost:” — “per run” or “per unit”, if there's a “Run” property. The visitor clicks on a price in the table — that option is highlighted, and the “Add to cart” button will add exactly that one.

A custom object layout completely replaces the shared one. “Revert to shared” deletes it. “Download layout” and “Upload layout” transfer the layout as a file. The object's content — name, image, properties — is edited with the “Edit object” button.

If it didn't work

• The visitor sees something different from what I set up. Above the panel it says “This object has its own layout…” — you're editing the shared one, but the custom one is shown. Switch the list to “Only this object” or click “Revert to shared”.
• An element disappeared. A hidden element is visible to the administrator as faded with a dashed border — bring it back with the eye.
• “This object has no added properties or prices yet”. Fill in the object in the “Manage objects” section.
