How to make a section open in a popup window
← BackCheck "Open in window" in the section window and select "Window position" — links to the section will open it over the current page.
- Open the section window.
- Check "Open in window".
- In "Window position" select: "window on the left", "window on the right", "window on top", "window at the bottom", "window in the center", or "system window" — the visitor can move it by the header, resize by the edges, minimize and maximize.
- Click "Save".
Now any link to this section — from the menu or from text — opens it in a window without reloading. The address in the browser bar changes to the section address, the "Back" button closes the window. The section itself remains a regular page: direct link, search, and access levels work as before.
Window appearance is edited with the gear in its header. Each position has its own style, and the "Apply only to this block" checkbox for windows is enabled by default — only this window will change. The second button in the header configures the dimming around. The size and padding handles inside the window also change only this window.
If it didn't work
- The section opened as a regular page. This happens when clicking with Ctrl or the middle button, for the "open in new tab" link, and if the server didn't return the section — for example, it is closed to guests and requires login.
- Part of the module doesn't work in the window. Not all modules can run inside a window. Open the section via direct link or uncheck the box.

Tips for working with the builder
The "Help" section is made for those who are building a website on "Pervaya Liniya" for the first time. It contains answers to common questions: how to create a website, what to write in the fields, how to edit texts and photos, how to connect your own domain, and how to set up sections. The materials will help you figure things out without contacting support.
The builder is simple: you fill in the fields on the creation page, and then edit the content directly on the finished website. If something does not work or is unclear, check the relevant help item. The instructions are written in plain language and describe every step.
In Help you will find answers to questions:
- how to come up with a website address and what to do if the name is taken;
- how to change the title, description, and other texts on the page;
- how to add products, services, or request forms;
- how to connect your own domain instead of an address on firstline.com.ua;
- how to set up sections and modules for your business needs.
If you cannot find the answer you need, use the feedback form — we will help you figure it out. The section is updated so that you can always find current information about working with the builder.
