How to edit the title and text directly on the page

Click on the page title or text — an edit panel will appear above it; “Save” or Ctrl+Enter records the changes.

  1. Open the page on the site while logged in as administrator.
  2. Click on the page title or its text. A frame will appear around it, and above it — a panel: bold, italic, underline, H1–H3, lists, link, alignment, toggle "Visual" / "HTML".
  3. Edit the text.
  4. Click "Save" on the panel or press Ctrl+Enter. The page will reload with the new text.

Cancel — the "Cancel" button or Esc. If there are already edits, Esc and clicking away won't silently discard them: a prompt "Unsaved changes" will appear with options "Save", "Don't save", or "Continue editing".

There is no text color or "Remove link" button on this panel. They are available in the full editor: section window → "Edit section text", buttons "Text color" (palette, "Custom color", "No color") and "Remove link".

The title, description, and property values on the object page are edited the same way.

If it didn't work

  • Clicking on the text does nothing. Check if "User" mode is enabled — the orange button in the top right corner of the header. On module pages that don't have their own section in the structure, the title cannot be edited in place.
  • "Save error". The text and edit mode remain — copy the text, refresh the page, and try again.
  • The edit closes as soon as it opens. Click on the text itself, not on a link inside it: clicking a link opens it.
