How to hide or replace a section in one of the languages
← BackThe "Sections and informers by language" card on the "Site languages" tab: for a language, select a section and the action "Hide" or "Show instead".
- If you need a replacement, first create it in the site structure as a regular section or informer (for example, "Kontakte Berlin") and set its access to "Nobody" — then it will appear only where it replaces.
- Open "General settings" → "Site languages" → the "Sections and informers by language" card.
- Select "Language", then "Section or informer".
- In "What to do" select "Hide" or "Show instead" — in the second case, specify "What to show". Click the "+" button.
"Hide" — in this language the section disappears from the menu and from page sections, its address opens "Page not found", and it is removed from the sitemap.
"Show instead" — another section is shown entirely in place of the section: title, text, module, settings, style. The menu position and page address remain the same. This is how, for example, the German version with Berlin contacts and a Berlin phone number in the header is made.
Why replace with a whole section and not with "another translation": machine translation would overwrite such text on the next run, but it does not touch a separate section.
If it didn't work
- The needed section is not in the replacement list. An informer can only be replaced by an informer, a section only by a section.
- The replacement didn't work on its own rule. Rules don't chain: the replacement section's own rule in the same language is not applied.
- You as an administrator see the hidden section. A dashed placeholder is shown in its place — visitors don't see it.

Tips for working with the builder
The "Help" section is made for those who are building a website on "Pervaya Liniya" for the first time. It contains answers to common questions: how to create a website, what to write in the fields, how to edit texts and photos, how to connect your own domain, and how to set up sections. The materials will help you figure things out without contacting support.
The builder is simple: you fill in the fields on the creation page, and then edit the content directly on the finished website. If something does not work or is unclear, check the relevant help item. The instructions are written in plain language and describe every step.
In Help you will find answers to questions:
- how to come up with a website address and what to do if the name is taken;
- how to change the title, description, and other texts on the page;
- how to add products, services, or request forms;
- how to connect your own domain instead of an address on firstline.com.ua;
- how to set up sections and modules for your business needs.
If you cannot find the answer you need, use the feedback form — we will help you figure it out. The section is updated so that you can always find current information about working with the builder.
