How to set a logo and favicon

Both images are uploaded in the settings of the "Logo" informer — using the "Logo" and "Fav icon" fields.

  1. Open "Site structure" and find the logo item — it is an informer, and it sits in the menu alongside sections.
  2. Open it and click "Module settings".
  3. "Logo" — the image in the site header. Until it is there, the header shows the project icon and name.
  4. "Fav icon" — a small image on the browser tab and in bookmarks. Square, from 32×32 pixels.
  5. Save.

There can be several logos on the site — for example, in the header and in the footer. Each item can have its own image; if an item doesn't have one, the logo uploaded in another item is shown.

If it didn't work

  • The favicon didn't change. Browsers cache it especially stubbornly: open the site in a private window to check.
  • The logo is too large. The size is set by the block styles — hover over the logo and click the gear icon, "Block" tab, "Width" and "Height" fields.
  • You changed the logo, but the footer still has the old one. The footer item has its own image — change it in its settings.
