Dark theme: how to enable it and why my colors disappear in it
← BackThe “Theme” informer gives the visitor a 🌙/☀️ button. In the dark theme, the background, text color and link color from the style window are not applied — this is by design.
- Add a menu item with the “Theme” module (code
informer_theme) — via “Select” → “Informers”. Save. - A 🌙 button will appear in the menu. The visitor clicks it — the site becomes dark, the button changes to ☀️.
The choice is stored in the visitor’s browser. By default, the site is light: it becomes dark only if the visitor clicks the button themselves.
Why colors disappear. In the dark theme, blocks do not take the colors set in the style window: background, text color and link color. Otherwise, a light block background with dark text would remain a light spot, and light text would disappear on a dark background. Everything else works: font, size, borders, shadows, padding, background image. The gradient over the image is disabled.
Therefore, configure colors in the light theme. If you open the style window in the dark theme, a hint will appear in its header that the block colors are visible only in the light theme.
If it didn’t work
- I saved a color — nothing changed. You have the dark theme enabled. Click ☀️ and check.
- The visitor sees the site as dark, but you see it as light. Each person has their own theme, stored in their browser.
- A color inserted into the page text remained in the dark theme. The dark theme only recolors the style window settings. The color inside the section text remains as set.

Tips for working with the builder
The "Help" section is made for those who are building a website on "Pervaya Liniya" for the first time. It contains answers to common questions: how to create a website, what to write in the fields, how to edit texts and photos, how to connect your own domain, and how to set up sections. The materials will help you figure things out without contacting support.
The builder is simple: you fill in the fields on the creation page, and then edit the content directly on the finished website. If something does not work or is unclear, check the relevant help item. The instructions are written in plain language and describe every step.
In Help you will find answers to questions:
- how to come up with a website address and what to do if the name is taken;
- how to change the title, description, and other texts on the page;
- how to add products, services, or request forms;
- how to connect your own domain instead of an address on firstline.com.ua;
- how to set up sections and modules for your business needs.
If you cannot find the answer you need, use the feedback form — we will help you figure it out. The section is updated so that you can always find current information about working with the builder.
