How to split users into groups and open a section to only one group

← Back

Groups are created on the "Users" tab in the "General Settings" section, and in the section window with "Registered only" access, the groups that can see it are checked.

  1. Open "General Settings" → "Users" tab.
  2. In the "User Groups" card, click "Create user group", enter a name, and click "Create". The "+" button next to a group creates a subgroup.
  3. In the "User List" block, click "Assign to group" next to the desired person, check the groups, and click "Save". The button appears when the site has at least one group.
  4. Open the section in the site structure, set "Access level" to "Registered only". Below, the "Access for user groups" block will appear: check the groups and save the section.

The section is accessible to the checked group along with all its subgroups — including those created later. If no checkboxes are selected, the section is visible to all registered users. Others won't see the menu item, and the direct link will show a "page not found". The administrator sees everything.

In the assignment window, checking a group with subgroups checks all nested groups and unchecks the group itself; clicking again unchecks them.

In the same list: "Make admin" / "Remove admin" grants or revokes site administrator rights; the coin icon next to the balance leads to the user's finances.

If it didn't work

  • No "Access for user groups" block. It appears only with the "Registered only" access level and only if the site has groups.
  • Deleted a group — subgroups disappeared. Deleting a group also removes everything nested. The users themselves remain; only their association is removed.

Tips for working with the builder

The "Help" section is made for those who are building a website on "Pervaya Liniya" for the first time. It contains answers to common questions: how to create a website, what to write in the fields, how to edit texts and photos, how to connect your own domain, and how to set up sections. The materials will help you figure things out without contacting support.

The builder is simple: you fill in the fields on the creation page, and then edit the content directly on the finished website. If something does not work or is unclear, check the relevant help item. The instructions are written in plain language and describe every step.

In Help you will find answers to questions:

  • how to come up with a website address and what to do if the name is taken;
  • how to change the title, description, and other texts on the page;
  • how to add products, services, or request forms;
  • how to connect your own domain instead of an address on firstline.com.ua;
  • how to set up sections and modules for your business needs.

If you cannot find the answer you need, use the feedback form — we will help you figure it out. The section is updated so that you can always find current information about working with the builder.
