How to show prices in another currency
← BackPrices are entered in rubles, but on each site language they are shown in its currency at the Central Bank rate — setting in "Site languages" → "Currency and rates".
- Enable a second site language — currency is tied to the language.
- Open "General settings" (
/look-admin) → "Site languages" → the "Currency and rates" card. - For each language, select the "Currency".
- Optionally fill in the fields "Markup on Central Bank rate, %" and "Rounding of price in currency".
- In the "Rates" table, you can enter a "Custom rate, ₽ per 1" — it will replace the Central Bank rate. The "Effective" column shows the rate used to calculate prices.
- Click "Save".
Currency is selected by page language, not by visitor country. The main language is always in rubles. The Central Bank of Russia rate updates automatically several times a day; the "Update Central Bank rates" button — immediately. With a 3% markup, the price in currency is 3% higher; a custom rate is applied as is, without markup. The price in currency is rounded up.
Prices of objects, cart, product cards, form price list, calculator with a ruble unit, and plans are recalculated. Balance, top-up, and admin panel remain in rubles.
T-Bank, PSB, SBP, and invoice charge rubles — in a non-main language, the customer sees this amount next to it. PatDy charges dollars: in another currency, the amount to pay is shown in dollars at the rate.
If it didn't work
- "no rate — rubles will be shown". Click "Update Central Bank rates" or enter a custom rate.
- The new price is not visible immediately. Pages are served from cache and will update after its lifetime.
- No currency selection. Only the main language is enabled on the site.
