How to create a cart page and checkout

← Back

A section with the forms module, the "Items in cart" field, customer fields, and a button with the "Pay" rule — submitting the form becomes an order.

  1. Create a section, enter forms in the "Module" field, and set the address, e.g. korzina. In the same window, check "Do not cache".
  2. Open the section on the site, click "Add field" and select the "Items in cart" type. This is a list of items with quantity, amount, and "Total".
  3. Add customer fields: name, "Phone (Russia)", "E-mail", comment.
  4. Add a field of type "Action button" and in "Button action" enter rules separated by semicolons, e.g. Send{}; Pay — an order email and redirect the customer to the payment page.
  5. Enter this page's address in the cart informer settings.

A form with the "Items in cart" field always creates an order: it assigns a number, saves the composition and amount, and then clears the cart. The order number is appended to the text from the Message{…} rule. The orders table for this form appears automatically on the first order.

If you don't accept payments on the site, instead of Pay use Save and Message{Thank you, we will contact you}. An order without a cart is also possible: the "Set of services with prices" field in any form — the server calculates the amount for it.

If it didn't work

  • "Cart is empty". The form was submitted without items — first add an item to the cart.
  • "Nothing to pay: the order has no items with a price". All items have a price of 0 — check the item prices.
  • The customer didn't receive the email. The email is sent only by the Send{…} rule — to the specified address. The customer sees their order via the link on the payment page and in the "My orders" section.

Tips for working with the builder

The "Help" section is made for those who are building a website on "Pervaya Liniya" for the first time. It contains answers to common questions: how to create a website, what to write in the fields, how to edit texts and photos, how to connect your own domain, and how to set up sections. The materials will help you figure things out without contacting support.

The builder is simple: you fill in the fields on the creation page, and then edit the content directly on the finished website. If something does not work or is unclear, check the relevant help item. The instructions are written in plain language and describe every step.

In Help you will find answers to questions:

  • how to come up with a website address and what to do if the name is taken;
  • how to change the title, description, and other texts on the page;
  • how to add products, services, or request forms;
  • how to connect your own domain instead of an address on firstline.com.ua;
  • how to set up sections and modules for your business needs.

If you cannot find the answer you need, use the feedback form — we will help you figure it out. The section is updated so that you can always find current information about working with the builder.
