What is a section's "Module"
← BackA module is a program that renders the page instead of plain text: a form, catalog, help, chess. It is selected with the "Choose" button from the module store.
An empty "Module" field means a regular page: whatever you write in the editor is what the visitor sees, and if the section has subsections or objects, they are displayed below the text.
If you specify a module, the engine will connect its code and show the page it renders. The section text doesn't go anywhere — it is displayed above the module, and this is a convenient place for an introduction.
The easiest way to choose a module is with the "Choose" button to the right of the field: it opens the "Module store" — a list with search, category breakdown, and a description of each module. The "Choose this module" button will insert its code into the field. For more details, see the article about the module store.
You can also enter the code manually. Commonly needed ones:
forms— form and calculator builder;static— a regular page with subsections and objects (same as an empty field);help— knowledge base (this section);auth— login, registration, password recovery;settings— visitor's personal settings.
If you make a mistake in the name, the page will show the section text and nothing else.
If it didn't work
- Instead of the module, a regular page with text. Check the module name: with a typo, the section is displayed as a regular page. The name is written in Latin characters, exactly as in the module store card ("Module code:").
- You changed the module, but the new one's settings aren't there. Save the section and open it again — after that, the new module's settings will appear.
- The module has its own settings. Then a "Module settings" button appears in the section window. No button means this module has no settings.

Tips for working with the builder
The "Help" section is made for those who are building a website on "Pervaya Liniya" for the first time. It contains answers to common questions: how to create a website, what to write in the fields, how to edit texts and photos, how to connect your own domain, and how to set up sections. The materials will help you figure things out without contacting support.
The builder is simple: you fill in the fields on the creation page, and then edit the content directly on the finished website. If something does not work or is unclear, check the relevant help item. The instructions are written in plain language and describe every step.
In Help you will find answers to questions:
- how to come up with a website address and what to do if the name is taken;
- how to change the title, description, and other texts on the page;
- how to add products, services, or request forms;
- how to connect your own domain instead of an address on firstline.com.ua;
- how to set up sections and modules for your business needs.
If you cannot find the answer you need, use the feedback form — we will help you figure it out. The section is updated so that you can always find current information about working with the builder.
