How to add breadcrumbs (navigation chain)
← BackCreate a section with the "Breadcrumbs" module and place it as a section on the page — a path "Home › Section › …" will appear above the text.
- Create a section and in the "Module" field select via "Select" the card "Breadcrumbs" (code
breadcrumbs). Save. - Open the section again and click "Module settings":
- "Start from home page" — the first link will be "Home";
- "Home label" — custom text instead of "Home";
- "Arrow with subsections of current page at the end";
- "Separator" — › / → » ·.
- Place this section as a section on the page where you need the chain — usually "at the very top".
The chain is built based on the nesting of sections in the structure. Clicking on a link expands a list of neighboring sections of the same level — you can go directly to a neighbor. Items hidden from the menu are not included in the lists. For search engines, the chain is marked up separately.
A section can be placed as a section on the site only once, so each page needs its own breadcrumb section. If a form is already on the page, it's easier to add a field of type "Breadcrumbs" (group "System") to it: it has no settings, but doesn't require an extra section. The object page has the same system field.
If it didn't work
- The chain shows the wrong page. The module shows the path of the page where it is placed as a section. If you open the breadcrumb section itself by its address, you will see the path to itself.
- No link to home at the beginning. Check the "Start from home page" checkbox.
- Link without a link. This is how dropdown items with address
#look: they don't have their own page.

Tips for working with the builder
The "Help" section is made for those who are building a website on "Pervaya Liniya" for the first time. It contains answers to common questions: how to create a website, what to write in the fields, how to edit texts and photos, how to connect your own domain, and how to set up sections. The materials will help you figure things out without contacting support.
The builder is simple: you fill in the fields on the creation page, and then edit the content directly on the finished website. If something does not work or is unclear, check the relevant help item. The instructions are written in plain language and describe every step.
In Help you will find answers to questions:
- how to come up with a website address and what to do if the name is taken;
- how to change the title, description, and other texts on the page;
- how to add products, services, or request forms;
- how to connect your own domain instead of an address on firstline.com.ua;
- how to set up sections and modules for your business needs.
If you cannot find the answer you need, use the feedback form — we will help you figure it out. The section is updated so that you can always find current information about working with the builder.
