How to change the site's primary language
← BackSelect "Base language" on the "Site languages" tab and click "Save languages". This declares the language in which the texts are already written — it doesn't translate anything itself.
- Open "General settings" → the "Site languages" tab.
- In the "Base language" list, select a language.
- Click "Save languages".
The base language is the one in which the site's texts are written: section titles and content, products, tariffs. It opens at addresses without a prefix (/about), translation into other languages is done from it, and SEO texts are written in it.
Changing it doesn't translate anything. Change the base language only if the site's texts are actually written in the selected language. Example: the site was filled in English, but Russian is set as the base — switch to English, and translation will go in the right direction.
The previous base language remains enabled as a regular one — uncheck it if its version is not needed.
If it didn't work
- You wanted to make a translated version the main one, but it has Russian texts. You can't swap languages: translations into the new base language are saved but not shown. Restore the previous base language.
- There's no language switcher on the site. The base language doesn't depend on it: languages and addresses with prefixes work even without the informer, it's just that the visitor can't switch the language themselves.

Tips for working with the builder
The "Help" section is made for those who are building a website on "Pervaya Liniya" for the first time. It contains answers to common questions: how to create a website, what to write in the fields, how to edit texts and photos, how to connect your own domain, and how to set up sections. The materials will help you figure things out without contacting support.
The builder is simple: you fill in the fields on the creation page, and then edit the content directly on the finished website. If something does not work or is unclear, check the relevant help item. The instructions are written in plain language and describe every step.
In Help you will find answers to questions:
- how to come up with a website address and what to do if the name is taken;
- how to change the title, description, and other texts on the page;
- how to add products, services, or request forms;
- how to connect your own domain instead of an address on firstline.com.ua;
- how to set up sections and modules for your business needs.
If you cannot find the answer you need, use the feedback form — we will help you figure it out. The section is updated so that you can always find current information about working with the builder.
