How to embed a form on another site

← Back

The “Embed form on another site” button gives ready HTML code: a button with a form in a window, a form in the page via iframe, or embedded without iframe.

  1. Open the form as administrator and click “Embed form on another site” — on the right in the builder panel.
  2. Choose an option: “Button + form in window”, “Form in page (iframe)”, or “Embed in page (without iframe)”.
  3. For the button, set “Button text” and “Button color” — the preview is right next to it.
  4. Click “Copy code” and paste it into the HTML of the other site's page — where the button or form should be. In site builders, this is the “HTML code”, “Code”, or “Embed” block.

How the options differ. The button opens the form over the page, and on a phone — full screen. The form in an iframe fits into the page text, its height adjusts automatically. Without iframe, the form becomes part of the page: shared scrolling, font, and text color of that site. If that site doesn't allow embedding, it will automatically fall back to iframe.

The without-iframe option is unavailable if the form has fields that need their own scripts: file upload, cloneable blocks, dependent list, cart, pickup points. These fields will be listed in the window.

Requests from another site arrive the same way as from yours — according to the form button's rules. The first line of the email is “Request source”: the site and page where the form was located. The orders table has a “Source” column for this. If the button has the “Pay” rule, the payment page will open instead of the other site's page.

Form edits on your site are visible on the other site immediately — no need to change the embed code.

If it didn't work

  • The “without iframe” option is grayed out. The form has a field from the list above. Use iframe or the button with a window.
  • In the form without iframe, the phone is entered without a mask. This is by design: the mask doesn't work there, but the number is still validated on submission and formatted as +7 (999) 123-45-67.

Tips for working with the builder

The "Help" section is made for those who are building a website on "Pervaya Liniya" for the first time. It contains answers to common questions: how to create a website, what to write in the fields, how to edit texts and photos, how to connect your own domain, and how to set up sections. The materials will help you figure things out without contacting support.

The builder is simple: you fill in the fields on the creation page, and then edit the content directly on the finished website. If something does not work or is unclear, check the relevant help item. The instructions are written in plain language and describe every step.

In Help you will find answers to questions:

  • how to come up with a website address and what to do if the name is taken;
  • how to change the title, description, and other texts on the page;
  • how to add products, services, or request forms;
  • how to connect your own domain instead of an address on firstline.com.ua;
  • how to set up sections and modules for your business needs.

If you cannot find the answer you need, use the feedback form — we will help you figure it out. The section is updated so that you can always find current information about working with the builder.
