What the action button in a form can do
← BackThe button executes the rules from the “Button action” field: send email, save request, hide form, thank, subscribe to newsletter, go back.
- Click “Add field” and select the type “Action button”. The field name is the label on the button.
- The “Button action” field will be filled with a ready-made set:
Send{}; Hide form; Message{Thank you. Our manager will contact you shortly}. - Adjust the set to your needs and save.
Rules are written separated by semicolons, with the argument in curly braces. A semicolon inside braces is not considered a separator, so you can safely use it in the message text.
Send{address}— email with the request. Empty braces — to site administrators.Hide form— after submission, the form disappears.Message{text}— text below the form. Empty braces — the standard “Thank you…”.Save— the request is recorded in the form's orders table.Pay— same, plus redirect to the payment page (details in the “Shop and payment” section).Subscribe— the email from the form is added to the site's subscriber list.Back— return to the previous page, doesn't submit anything.
The “Save” or “Pay” rule is executed first, no matter where it appears: the order number is needed for the email. The rest — in order. If the email fails to send, the form doesn't hide and “thank you” isn't shown — the visitor will see an error and can try again. Exception — a request already saved as an order: its processing continues even without the email.
Write rule names in Russian, as in the examples, and on the English version of the site too: these are commands, not text, and shouldn't be translated. Only the message text is translated.
The appearance of buttons is configured with the gear icon on the button itself — buttons have their own style, separate from input fields.
If it didn't work
- “The button has no action set”. The field contains no recognizable rule — check the spelling, e.g., “Hide form”, not “Hide”.
- “Too often. Wait a few seconds”. Between submissions from the same browser, 5 seconds must pass — this filters out double clicks.
- The “Consent” checkbox is checked, but the form requires it. If a required field has multiple options, one checked is enough. Refresh the page with cache clearing: an old script might remain in the browser.

Tips for working with the builder
The "Help" section is made for those who are building a website on "Pervaya Liniya" for the first time. It contains answers to common questions: how to create a website, what to write in the fields, how to edit texts and photos, how to connect your own domain, and how to set up sections. The materials will help you figure things out without contacting support.
The builder is simple: you fill in the fields on the creation page, and then edit the content directly on the finished website. If something does not work or is unclear, check the relevant help item. The instructions are written in plain language and describe every step.
In Help you will find answers to questions:
- how to come up with a website address and what to do if the name is taken;
- how to change the title, description, and other texts on the page;
- how to add products, services, or request forms;
- how to connect your own domain instead of an address on firstline.com.ua;
- how to set up sections and modules for your business needs.
If you cannot find the answer you need, use the feedback form — we will help you figure it out. The section is updated so that you can always find current information about working with the builder.
