How to set up a user greeting in the menu and after login
← BackThe “Greeting” informer: text in the menu using the template “Hello, {Name|E-mail}” and a separate message right after login. Both fields are in the module settings.
- Add a menu item with the “Greeting” module (code
informer_hello) — via “Select” → “Informers”. Save. - Open the item, click “Module settings”.
- “Text in the informer” — what is visible in the menu. By default
Hello, {Name|E-mail}. - “Flash greeting template after authorization” — the message that pops up right after login.
- Save.
Substitutions. {Name} — the name from the user’s personal settings, {E-mail} — their address. The pipe means “or”: {Name|E-mail} will show the name, and if it is not filled in, the e-mail. If there is nothing to substitute, the substitution is removed along with the comma before it. HTML is allowed: <br>, <b>, links.
A guest does not see the greeting. On a phone, the greeting remains in the header next to the logo; a long one moves entirely to the second line.
If it didn’t work
- There is no “Welcome” after login. The message after login is output only by the template: fill in “Flash greeting template after authorization”.
- The greeting disappeared both in the menu and after login. An empty “Text in the informer” disables the label in the menu. An informer hidden from the menu does not greet after login either.
- Instead of the name, {City} is shown. Only
{Name}and{E-mail}work; unknown substitutions remain as they are.

Tips for working with the builder
The "Help" section is made for those who are building a website on "Pervaya Liniya" for the first time. It contains answers to common questions: how to create a website, what to write in the fields, how to edit texts and photos, how to connect your own domain, and how to set up sections. The materials will help you figure things out without contacting support.
The builder is simple: you fill in the fields on the creation page, and then edit the content directly on the finished website. If something does not work or is unclear, check the relevant help item. The instructions are written in plain language and describe every step.
In Help you will find answers to questions:
- how to come up with a website address and what to do if the name is taken;
- how to change the title, description, and other texts on the page;
- how to add products, services, or request forms;
- how to connect your own domain instead of an address on firstline.com.ua;
- how to set up sections and modules for your business needs.
If you cannot find the answer you need, use the feedback form — we will help you figure it out. The section is updated so that you can always find current information about working with the builder.
